Mechanical Engineer/Principal
Experience:
Michael Haloossim has over thirty-five year of professional
experience. As a principal of the firm his duties includes client
contact, overall design concepts for mechanical, electrical and
plumbing systems. He was president of HELFMAN/HALOOSSIM & ASSOCIATES
for 20 years before merging with ANTIERI & ASSOCIATES Consulting
Engineering with comprehensive air conditioning, plumbing,
electrical and fire protection engineering services to clients in
all area of design and construction.
Because of his initial experience as contractor he is particularly
aware of costs and practical application. Six year of teaching
experience at University of California, Los Angeles, also gives him
a solid background in fundamentals.
He has been pioneer in application of incremental water source heat
pump air conditioning, the overhead induction system for large
office buildings, and thermal storage system to shift demand charges
to off-peak hours for maximum efficiency. He was the 1989 Southern
California Edison recipient of design for excellence award for best
energy efficient building in high-rise category.
